About Economics Made Simple
We think every student deserves a clear, honest explanation of how economics works — not a textbook written for academics.
Why We Built This
Economics is taught badly in too many schools. Students are handed definitions to memorise without ever understanding why markets behave the way they do, or what economic policy actually means for real people. Economics Made Simple was built to fill that gap — to give students the intuition behind the theory, so the mechanics click into place rather than getting crammed the night before an exam.
How We Approach It
Start From First Principles
We don't assume prior knowledge. Every topic starts from the ground up — what the concept is, why it exists, and how it connects to other ideas. You should be able to follow along whether you've just started your course or you're revising for finals.
Real Examples Over Abstract Theory
Theory without context is almost impossible to retain. Every explanation is grounded in real-world events — actual recessions, real policy decisions, genuine market failures — so you understand not just what happened, but why economics predicted it.
Exam-Ready Without Being Exam-Only
We write for students who want to understand economics, not just pass a test. That said, we know exams matter — so every topic is framed in a way that translates directly to the kind of analysis and evaluation your examiners are looking for.
Who We Are
Economics Made Simple is written by economics graduates and teachers who remember exactly where the subject felt confusing and where it clicked. We're not a publishing house — we're people who've sat the exams, marked the papers, and know what actually helps students learn.
